I recently had to put my Boerboel down due to cancer, he was 10 1/2 and my best friend. My original breeder no longer was breeding anumore so I started researching Boerboel breeders. I came across Natalee with Texas Leontix and from the beginning I knew she was our new breeder. How did I know, well when your standing in a yard full of grown Boerboels, 1 of each color I might add, I realized I was standing in the middle of over a thousand pounds of dogs and it was so calm I felt like Ace Ventura. But I had done nothing to achieve this but Natalee had. It was an experience I will never forget. I filled out the questionnaire and I put down my deposit and patiently waited for the puppies to come. I had certain requests, male, red, and docile.
Not only did she raise and hand pick my dog but the same day as we picked up Rooster, another family was there to pick up their dog. They also were from San Antonio which means the 2 brothers live just a few miles away from each other and hopefully get to grow up together. That was a very cool experience fore both families and made new friends at the same time. Amazing how dogs can bring people/family together.
Natalee and Paul opened up their home and their hearts and TRULY CARE about their dogs temperament and the finest quality of Boerboels. SOmehow or another I think I just signed myself up for another one before I left. You don't just get a dog from Natalee you become family. As I'm typing this with tears of sorrow for the loss of my Bucho, the happy tears overcome as Rooster is asleep in my lap. I love this breed and if you are looking for a large, loyal animal and you are willing to take on a 180-200lb dog, the Boerboel in my opinion is the only way to go. If you've never been around one of these animals, well my friend you are missing out. Look at her website and you will see what I mean.
I recommend Leontix Boerboels 1000%!!!!!
